I had the privilege of staying at The Grove Acute Center due to an ankle injury. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility for post-op care. I’ve experienced many other rehab/skilled nursing places in the area & The Grove is by far the most hospital-like. What makes this place superior is the people. Their dedication to each patient and their professionalism creates a positive healing environment. Everyone is willing & able to support each other while they put the care of their patients upfront. If you or your loved one needs post op Care, The Grove is an excellent choice
The Grove Post Acute did a great job taking care of my mom. They were able to provide all the medical help she needed and more. They were able to revive her from being just wanting to stay in bed, not wanting to eat, confusion, and really bad mental decline into being up again, happy with good energy. Huge improvement in her memory and just happy to be alive again. I also highly recommend their activities department. They got my mom to join in on a lot of the activities and now actually have a new hobby of painting. The place is nice and bright (not dark and depressing) and everyone seems to be really nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
I cannot say enough when it comes to the professionalism and hospitality I experienced at The Grove Post Acute. I was obviously very worried when my aunt was admitted to the hospital. They told me she would need Skilled Therapy. I toured several buildings and this by far the was cleanest and nicest of them all. The coffee bar is a plus for me (wink wink)! However, upon walking in the receptionist was very sweet, she called for the admissions and had me tour. You can tell it’s been updated recently and looks amazing. The place was clean and there was a guy polishing the floor! I like how they had Korean and American food. This establishment is duo, so if you don’t feel like eating American food – try the Korean food! If there was any place I wanted my loved one to be, this would be it!
Wonderful place. Everybody is very friendly to the family members. All staff knows my dad and would come to tell me for any news for my dad.
They report to me on any changes right away. However, the taste of food changed a little recently and could get better but still OK. I highly recommend this place to you all.
This place is clean, professional, and attentive to their patients.
My dad treatment here was extremely better while recovering from a stroke after his transfer from another nearby facility. The nurses and CNAs always made my family and dad feel welcome and responsive to his needs. The caseworkers/social workers are organized and on top of things as much as possible. They are always happy to answer my questions and well informed of my dad’s status.
Some staff caring for my dad would take time to chat a little with dad while he was recovering from his stroke which was very nice of them and show the attentiveness of the staff.
The physical therapy staff is always flexible and helpful. They are thorough teaching the family to assist the patients.
They have a designated staff to oversee the food for patients and will talk to family to see if he has food allergies or his food preference.
My dad has stayed here before for different physical/medical reasons previously and the quality of treatment has always been extremely good at this place.
